What is your main focus? I have loved any form of art since I was old enough to hold a crayon. But painting with acrylic has been my main focus for about 12 years. The vibrancy of color and the possibilities contained in every tube of paint, the scope provided by every square inch of canvas, it all just lights me up and pulls me on through the good times and the bad.
Where do you create? I paint almost exclusively at home primarily because transporting canvases, paint, brushes, ...etc. is more likely to damage my supplies than it is to aid in my creative endevors.
What motivates/inspires your work? My work is inspired by nature, color, animals, random suggestions from friends and family that happen to catch my attention.
What's your favorite piece you've ever created? I don't think I can pick a favorite creative work. Each piece gives me something that no other piece has, each one teaches me, or involves trying something new, or is an improvement over something I've done before.
What do you like to do when you're not creating? When I'm not creating I like to spend time with my pets and husband, cook, sew, write, read, and spend time with friends.
